As a teaching hospital, Kuluva shall allow fresh graduates and medical professionals on vocation registered to practice in Uganda to volunteer for a maximum period of six (6) months. Where the volunteer exceeds six (6) months, she/he shall be required to re-apply to the Human Resource Committee of the Board of Governors for re-admission for a period not exceeding six (6) months.
Registered Medical Professional volunteers on vacation shall be temporarily appointed by the Human Resource Committee of the Board of Governors for the agreed period not exceeding six months.
The temporary appointment issued to the volunteers on vocation upon satisfying all conditions for acceptance shall allow them access to the necessary hospital facilities to offer medical care.
Volunteers shall not be entitled to monthly salary or other benefits due to the hospital employees except medical professionals on vocation, who shall be paid allowance for the period agreed upon with the Hospital Management.
